DESCRIPTION:Oshkosh’s Funniest Comedian competition is back to spotlight the area’s best up-and-coming standup talent in a high-energy\, crowd-driven showdown! Kicking off May 8\, the competition features one preliminary round each month\, with up to 11 comedians per round taking the stage to deliver their best sets in hopes of earning a coveted spot in the Sept. 26 finale to claim the title of Oshkosh’s Funniest Comedian. \nWhat makes this competition extra-fun is that YOU help decide who advances. Kicking off May 8\, the competition features one preliminary round each month\, with up to 11 comedians per round taking the stage to deliver their best sets in hopes of earning a coveted spot in the Sept. 26 finale to claim the title of Oshkosh’s Funniest Comedian. \nWhat makes this competition extra-fun is that YOU help decide who advances. Winners from each prelim will be chosen through a combination of interactive audience voting and scores from a panel of local “celebrity” judges. \nAdditionally\, a fifth finalist will earn their place in the finale as the “People’s Choice” winner\, selected through online voting after the prelims. \nIf last year’s competitors are any indication\, audiences are in for sharp wit\, big laughs\, and unforgettable performances. \nCome to cheer on a friend\, heckle the competitors (nicely!)\, or simply laugh the night away! \nAttend for a night of laughs\, and vote on which contestant gains the honorable title of “Oshkosh’s Funniest Comedian.” \nFinalists TBD
