Franki Moscato – BE KIND – Benefit for Suicide Prevention
February 28, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
FreeFranki Moscato, a 16-year-old singer/songwriter from Oshkosh, will be promoting suicide awareness at a community gathering that includes a private showing of her music video, “I Will Rise”, which was recorded with hundreds of community volunteers by Film Director Steven Heil. Everyone is invited to attend this free event to be held at the Oshkosh Arena in Oshkosh, WI.
Suicide awareness is a platform that Moscato has promoted from a young age after her own school struggles. Much of her original music contains verses that advocate healing from mental hardships. To that extent, Moscato will be joined by Community For Hope to raise money that will directly elevate suicide prevention education in the surrounding area. “I believe that banding together as one family is a positive step toward ending this disease”, said Moscato.
Moscato will also debut her latest single called “Tightrope”, which she recorded with Music Producers Doug DeAngelis and Erin Boehme. The song raises hope toward enduring troublesome thoughts by never looking down. Afterward, Tightrope will be available for download from all popular cloud-based music services. As this event marks her 100th show as a music performer, Moscato has invited other professional musicians to accompany her to perform during the evening.
The storyline of the music video for Mascoto’s original song, “I Will Rise”, is about a young girl who optimistically tries to improve the culture of her community by giving away red T-shirts that read, “BE KIND”. Moscato is hoping that all of the volunteers that attended the filming will join her again at this event wearing their “BE KIND” shirts.
